Daniel P. Ruiz, PA-C, has served in the United State Army since 1986, retiring from active duty with 20 years of active service. Dan completed his physician assistant degree at Ft. Sam Houston TX Academy of Health Sciences through the University of Oklahoma, as well as a master degree in physician assistant studies at Walter Reed Army Medical Center through the University of Nebraska. He is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In addition to assisting during surgical procedures, Dan is involved in pre- and post-operative care of bariatric patients in the office.
